FRONT AXLE HUB (for Independent Type) REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. SEPARATE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB GREASE CAP LH


    1. Remove the 6 bolts with hub grease cap LH and outer shaft flange gasket LH.

  4. REMOVE AXLE HUB W/DISC

      Using a screwdriver, loosen the staked part of adjusting lock washer LH.

      Using SST, remove the adjusting nut LH.

    3. Remove the adjusting lock washer LH.

    4. Using SST, remove the adjusting nut LH.

    5. Remove the hub claw washer LH, outer bearing roller bearing and front axle hub with front disc.

  5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB LH OIL SEAL


    1. Fix the front axle hub with disc in a vise.

    2. A01KEYUE01

      Using SST, remove the hub oil seal LH.

    3. Remove the inner bearing roller bearing from the front axle hub.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DISC

      Place the matchmarks on the front disc and front axle hub.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front axle hub from the front disc.

  7. REMOVE FRONT AXLE INNER BEARING TAPERED ROLLER BEARING


    1. Using a brass bar and hammer, remove the inner bearing tapered roller bearing outer race.

  8. REMOVE FRONT AXLE OUTER BEARING TAPERED ROLLER BEARING


    1. Using a brass bar and hammer, remove the outer bearing tapered roller bearing outer race.
