REAR LEAF SPRING INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL REAR SPRING LEAF BUSH


    1. A01KI5EE01

      Using SST and press, install a new 2 bushes.

      SST
      09710-28012   ( 09710-07062 )
      09710-30041   ( 09710-03211 )

  2. INSTALL LEAF SPRING


    1. A01KFLU

      Using a hammer, bend the spring clip into the position.

    2. A01KHUK

      Install the spring center bolt.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  3. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR LH SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Temporary tighten the nut and spring shackle.

      Temporary tighten the nut and spring pin.

      Note

      Tighten the nut and not the bolt.

  4. INSTALL REAR SPRING BUMPER NO.1 LH (EXCEPT SINGAPORE)

  5. INSTALL HOLLOW SPRING SEAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL REAR SPRING U BOLT

  7. INSTALL REAR SPRING U BOLT SEAT

    1. Install the U-bolt seat to the U-bolt.

    2. Install the 4 nuts and 4 washers.

      Torque:
      Except F-J/L
      120 N*m  { 1224 kgf*cm, 89 ft.*lbf }
      IFS F-J/L Wide
      200 N*m  { 2038 kgf*cm, 147 ft.*lbf }

  8. CONNECT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY REAR LH


    1. A01KEQF

      Except Singapore:

      Install the rear shock absorber with bolt, washer and nut to the rear axle housing.

      Torque:
      78 N*m  { 795 kgf*cm, 57 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01KH7U

      Singapore:

      Install the rear shock absorber assembly, with the cushion washer No. 2 and bolt to the U-bolt seat.

      Torque:
      36 N*m  { 367 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

  9. STABILIZE SUSPENSION

  10. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR LH SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Fully tighten the nut.

      Torque:
      Front side
      250 N*m  { 2549 kgf*cm, 184 ft.*lbf }
      Rear side
      120 N*m  { 1224 kgf*cm, 89 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Front side:

      Tighten the nut and not the bolt.
