FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER LH


    1. Install front suspension upper arm LH and 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      190 N*m  { 1937 kgf*cm, 140 ft.*lbf }
    2. A01KGL4

      Support the front suspension lower arm LH on jack.

    3. Connect the front suspension upper arm LH to the steering knuckle.

    4. Install a new castle nut and cotter pin.

      Torque:
      140 N*m  { 1428 kgf*cm, 103 ft.*lbf }

    5. Remove the jack.

  2. CONNECT SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH (w/ ABS)

    1. Install the 4 bolts and front speed sensor LH.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 65 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt C
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION TORQUE ARM LH

  4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN TORSION BAR SPRING LH

    Click here

  5. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER BRACKET NO.1 LH


    1. Install the 2 bolts and engine side cover bracket sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      28 N*m  { 286 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the bolt, connect the transmission control cable bracket.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install the bolt, connect the heater bracket to the engine side cover bracket sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL TILT CAB STAY ASSEMBLY (TILT CAB CAB TYPE)


    1. Install the 4 bolts and tilt cab stay assembly.

      Torque:
      58 N*m  { 591 kgf*cm, 42 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR SIDE APRON NO.1 LH


    1. Install the 4 bolts and front side apron No. 1 LH.

      Torque:
      11.5 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Single cab:

      Install the 4 bolts and engine side cover LH.

      Torque:
      11.5 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    2. Except Single cab:

      Install the 3 bolts and engine side cover LH.

      Torque:
      11.5 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

    Torque:
    Full just low
    365 N*m  { 3722 kgf*cm, 269 ft.*lbf }
    Except full just low
    135 N*m  { 1377 kgf*cm, 100 ft.*lbf }

  10. ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT

  11. FULLY TIGHTEN TORSION BAR SPRING LH

  12. CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ ABS)
