DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY (for Ring Gear Size 10.5 inch) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER GASKET


    1. Install a new gasket.

  2. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY REAR


    1. A01KIQH

      Install the differential carrier with 4 nuts, 4 washers and 8 bolts.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the installation surface.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      51 N*m  { 520 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }
      Nut
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT GASKET LH

  4. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT GASKET RH

  5. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH


    1. Install the rear axle shaft with the 6 nuts and 6 washers.

      Torque:
      59 N*m  { 602 kgf*cm, 44 ft.*lbf }

  6. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT RH


    1. Install the RH side by the same procedures with the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR AXLE HOUSING DRAIN PLUG


    1. Install a new gasket with drain plug.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  8. REFILL DIFFERENTIAL OIL

  9. INSPECT DIFFERENTIAL OIL

    Click here

  10. INSTALL REAR AXLE HOUSING FILLER PLUG


    1. Install a new gasket with filler plug.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  11. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY REAR
