SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE LEVER LOCK PIN NO.2


    1. A01KEOY

      Remove the nut from the shift lever lock pin No. 2.

    2. A01KHTN

      Using a brass bar and a hammer, remove the shift lever lock pin No. 2.

  2. REMOVE SELECT OUTER LEVER


    1. A01KHNL

      Remove the select outer lever and washer from the select lever shaft sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE SELECT LEVER SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the select lever shaft sub-assembly from the shift lever shaft housing.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT OUTER LEVER LEVER LOCK PIN

      Remove the nut from the shift outer lever lever lock pin.

    2. A01KGOF

      Using a brass bar and a hammer, remove the shift outer lever lever lock pin.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT OUTER LEVER NO.1


    1. A01KGFP

      Remove the shift outer lever No. 1 from the shift & select lever shaft.

  6. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER BOOT


    1. A01KG8F

      Remove the shift lever boot from the shift lever shaft housing.

  7. REMOVE SHIFT & SELECT LEVER SHAFT


    1. A01KI2M

      Using a pin punch and a hammer, remove the shift lever shaft set slotted pin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the shift & select lever.

    2. A01KGCC

      Pull out the shift & select lever shaft and remove the shift & select lever.

  8. REMOVE SELECT SPRING SEAT NO.1


    1. A01KEDK

      Remove the select spring seat No. 1 and spring from the shift lever shaft housing.

  9. REMOVE REVERSE RESTRICT PIN NO.1


    1. A01KGNP

      Using a hammer, drive a screw extractor into the reverse restrict slotted pin.

    2. Pull out the reverse restrict slotted pin from the shift lever shaft housing.

    3. A01KFOW

      Remove the reverse restrict pin No. 1 and spring from the shift lever shaft housing.

  10. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER NO.2 SHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A01KIPI

      Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lever No. 2 shaft oil seal from the shift lever shaft housing.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage shift lever shaft housing.

  11. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A01KH7H

      Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lever shaft oil seal from the shift lever shaft housing.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage shift lever shaft housing.
