SHIFT AND SELECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER


    1. Remove the 2 screws and the parking brake hole cover.

  3. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER BOOT COVER


    1. Remove the 3 clips and the shift lever boot cover.

  5. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT CABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHIFT AND SELECT

      Remove the nut, and disconnect the shift cable from the floor shift assembly.

    2. Remove the clip, and disconnect the shift cable from the shift lever retainer.

    3. A01KGIB

      Remove the clip, and disconnect the select cable from the floor shift assembly.

    4. Remove the clip, and disconnect select cable from the shift lever retainer.

    5. A01KEN5

      Remove the 4 bolts, and disconnect the grommet from the floor.

    6. Disconnect the shift cable from the grommet.

      Remove the nut, and disconnect the shift cable from the lever.

    8. Remove the clip, and disconnect the shift cable from the bracket.

    9. A01KES6

      Remove the nut, and disconnect the select cable from the lever.

    10. Remove the clip, and disconnect the select cable from the bracket.

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

      Remove the bolt, and disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

    16. Disconnect the shift and select cable from the clamp.

    17. Pull out the shift and select cable from the floor.
