INPUT SHAFT INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SYNCHRONIZER RING NO.2


    1. A01KG3C

      Apply the gear oil to the cone of the input shaft, and check that it does not rotate to the circumference direction while synchronizer ring No. 2 is pushed.

    2. A01KGFK

      Check the clearance between the synchronizer ring No. 2 and the input shaft while the synchronizer ring No. 2 is pushed to the cone of the input shaft.

      Standard clearance
      0.70 to 1.70 mm (0.0276 to 0.0669 in.)

      If the clearance is out of the specification, replace the synchronizer ring No. 2 with a new one.
