SHIFT AND SELECT LEVER SHAFT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SELECT OUTER LEVER LEVER LOCK PIN

      Loosen the nut of the select outer lever lock pin until the height is equal to the lock pin.

    2. Using a brass bar and a hammer, remove the select outer lever lock pin.

    3. Remove the nut, washer and the select outer lever lock pin from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  2. REMOVE SELECT OUTER LEVER

      Remove the select outer lever and the washer from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  3. REMOVE SELECT LEVER SHAFT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the select lever shaft from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  4. REMOVE LEVER LOCK PIN NO.2

      Loosen the nut of the shift lever lock pin No. 2 until the height is equal to the lock pin.

    2. Using a brass bar and a hammer, remove the shift lever lock pin No. 2.

    3. Remove the nut, washer and the shift lever lock pin No. 2 from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT OUTER LEVER NO.1

      Remove the shift outer lever No. 1 from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  6. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER BOOT

      Remove the shift lever boot from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  7. REMOVE SHIFT & SELECT LEVER SHAFT

      Using pin punch (5 mm) and a hammer, remove the shift lever shaft set slotted pin from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

      Note

      Remove with checking so that the shift lever shaft slotted pin will not hit the shift lever shaft.

    2. A01KGAM

      Remove the shift & select lever shaft from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  8. REMOVE SHIFT & SELECT LEVER


    1. A01KGBH

      Remove the shift & select lever, 2 select return compression springs and the select spring seat No. 1 from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  9. REMOVE REVERSE RESTRICT PIN SLOTTED SPRING PIN

      Remove the reverse restrict slotted pin from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  10. REMOVE REVERSE RESTRICT PIN NO.1


    1. A01KHJ9

      Remove the reverse restrict pin No. 1 from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

    2. Remove the reverse restrict pin compression spring from the reverse restrict pin No. 1.

  11. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER NO.2 SHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A01KIGH

      Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lever No. 2 shaft oil seal from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.

  12. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. A01KFIV

      Using a screwdriver, remove the shift lever shaft oil seal from the shift lever shaft housing assembly.
