GENERATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Temporally install the generator with the long bolt (upper side).

    2. Install the alternator bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 215 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    3. Tighten the long bolt (upper side).

      Torque:
      62 N*m  { 630 kgf*cm, 46 ft.*lbf }

    4. Connect the generator connector.

    5. Connect the +B terminal with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    6. Install the spacer, idler No. 2 and cover with the bolt.

  2. INSTALL PIPE, AIR CLEANER

  3. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Connect the air cleaner pipe to the air cleaner case.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

  4. INSTALL FAN & GENERATOR V BELT

      *1 Auto Tensioner

      Set the V belt to everything except the auto tensioner, as shown in the illustration.

    2. Loosen the V belt by turning the belt tensioner clockwise.

    3. Then set the V belt to the auto tensioner.

      After a new belt has been installed, check that the mark is within the B range as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Torque:
    11.5 N*m  { 115 kgf*cm, 8.5 ft.*lbf }
