IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER LWR

  3. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER UPR

    Tech Tips

    The tilt steering column is the most down position, when removing the steering column cover.

  4. SEPARATE STEERING COLUMN TUBE LOWER

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and separate the steering column tube lower as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the screw and ignition (starter) switch assembly.
