PRE-HEATING SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT PREHEATING TIMER


    1. Inspect the illumination duration of the glow indicator light.


      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and measure the duration of time that the light remains illuminated.

        Light illumination duration
        Approx. 5 seconds

    2. Inspect the preheating time.

        Turn the ignition switch to ON, and measure the length of time that battery voltage is applied to terminal SREL of the preheating timer.
