ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
1. Install 2 new gaskets and the oil cooler to the oil filter bracket.
  
  Torque:
  
  15.5 N*m { 160 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL OIL FILTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install a new gasket and oil filter bracket.
  
  Torque:
  
  29.5 N*m { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

*a 3/4 Turn
1. Check and clean the oil filter installation surface.
2. Apply clean engine oil to the rubber gasket of a new oil filter.
3. Lightly screw the oil filter into place, and tighten it by hand until the rubber gasket contacts the installation surface.
4. Using SST, tighten it by an additional 3/4 turn to seat the filter.

INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD

  Install a new gasket and exhaust manifold with the 8 bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  52 N*m { 530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }
  
  Note
  
  Install the gasket in the illustrated direction.
INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR NO.1

Torque:

for Short bolt 0.47 in.

12.0 N*m { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

for Long bolt 1.50 in.

19.0 N*m { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY FRONT

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Temporally install the generator with the bolt (lower side).
2. Connect the vacuum pump oil inlet hose with a new gasket and the union bolt.
  
  Torque:
  
  13.7 N*m { 140 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }
3. Connect the 3 hoses.
4. Connect the connector.
5. Connect the +B terminal wire with the nut.
  
  Torque:
  
  9.8 N*m { 100 kgf*cm, 9 in.*lbf }
6. Install the terminal cover.
INSTALL COMPRESSOR MOUNTING BRACKET NO.1
1. Install the bracket with the 4 bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  86 N*m { 880 kgf*cm, 63 ft.*lbf }
2. Temporally install the generator bolt (upper side).
3. Connect the connector and 2 vacuum hoses.
INSTALL COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH
1. Install the cooler compressor with the 4 bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  24.5 N*m { 250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
1. For vehicles with A/C.
  1. Install the V belt.
  2. Tightening the bolt C, adjust the tension of the V belt.
  3. Tighten the bolts A and B.
    
    Torque:
    
    Bolt A
    
    65 N*m { 650 kgf*cm, 48 ft.*lbf }
    
    Bolt B
    
    18 N*m { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
  4. Check the tension of the V belt Click here.
2. For vehicles without A/C.
  1. Install the V belt.
  2. Using a bar, adjust the tension of the V belt.
  3. Tighten the bolts A and B.
  4. Check the tension of the V belt.
    
    Torque:
    
    Bolt A
    
    65 N*m { 650 kgf*cm, 48 ft.*lbf }
    
    Bolt B
    
    18 N*m { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
  5. Check the tension of the V belt Click here.
ADJUST FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

INSTALL V (COOLER COMPRESSOR TO CRANKSHAFT PULLEY) BELT NO.1

  *1 Idler pulley
  
  Install the V belt.
2. Tightening the bolt B, adjust the tension of the V belt.
3. Tighten nut A.
  
  Torque:
  
  39 N*m { 400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
4. Check the tension of the V belt Click here.
INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE NO.1
INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

Torque:

11.5 N*m { 115 kgf*cm, 8.5 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT) (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)
1. Temporarily install front side of the front seat assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
2. Install the 2 rear side bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  39.0 N*m { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
3. Tighten the 2 front side bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  39.0 N*m { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }
4. Install the seat track cover.
