OIL PRESSURE SENSOR (w/ DPF) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure sender gauge.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

      Note

      Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the oil pressure sender gauge.

    2. Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the oil pressure sender gauge.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

    3. Connect the engine oil pressure sender gauge connector.

  2. ADD ENGINE OIL

  3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK


    1. Warm up the engine and inspect for oil leak.

  4. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL


    1. Warm up the engine, stop the engine and wait 5 minutes. The engine oil level should be between the dipstick low level mark and full level mark.

      If low, check for leakage and add oil up to the full level mark.

      Note

      Do not fill engine oil above the full level mark.

  5. INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Double Cab)
