INSPECT RADIATOR CAP
Measure the valve opening pressure.
Wash stains and foreign matter from rubber packings A, B and C with water and finger scouring.
Check that A or B is not deformed, cracked or swollen.
Check that rubber packings B and C are not stuck together.
Apply engine coolant to rubber packing B before using the radiator cap tester.

When using the cap tester, tilt it more than 30 degrees.
Pump the cap tester several times, and check the maximum pressure *1.
