WATER PUMP INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

    A01KICUE01

    1. Install a new gasket to the water pump cover.

      Text in Illustration
      *1 New Gasket

    2. Place a new gasket in position on the cylinder block.

    3. A01KIPD

      Temporarily install the water pump with the 5 bolts and nut.

    4. Tighten the bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    5. Install the timing belt.

    6. Install the fan belt tensioner.

  2. INSTALL FAN PULLEY

  3. INSTALL FLUID COUPLING ASSEMBLY

    A01KGIO

    1. Stretch the belt tight and torque the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  5. REFILL ENGINE COOLANT

  6. CHECK ENGINE COOLANT LEAK
