DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR (w/ DPF) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KGXEE02

      Disconnect the exhaust pipe air hose.

    2. Using SST, apply pressure to the pressure sensor in 0 kPa increments until the pressure reaches 100 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14.5 psi).

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E12-7 (PEX) - E12-14 (EPEX) 0 kPa 0.75 V

      20 kPa (0.2 kgf/cm2, 2.9 psi)

      		 1.53 V

      100 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14.5 psi)

      		 4.65 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the differential pressure sensor.

    5. Connect the No. 7 air hose to the differential pressure sensor.
