DPF SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT DPF SWITCH


    1. Check the resistance.

        Component without harness connected

        (DPF Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        6 - 7 Not Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        6 - 7 Pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the DPF switch.

    2. Check the illumination.


      1. Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the DPF switch, and check the illumination condition of the DPF switch.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 3

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the DPF switch.
