FUEL INJECTION NOZZLE INSTALLATION

INSTALL NOZZLE HOLDER AND NOZZLE SET

1. Install a new nozzle sheet gasket and nozzle sheet to the cylinder head.

2. Using SST, install the set of holder and nozzle.

   Torque:

   64 N*m  { 650 kgf*cm, 47 ft.*lbf }

   SST

   09268-64010   ( 09268-64020 )

INSTALL NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE ASSEMBLY

1. Using a new washer, install the nozzle leakage pipe assembly.

   Torque:

   29.5 N*m  { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

INSTALL GLOW PLUG NO.1 CONNECTOR

INSTALL FUEL HOSE

INSTALL INJECTION PIPE

1. Install a flare nut in the nozzle side temporarily but tighten one in the pump side.

   Torque:

   24.5 N*m  { 250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

2. Install the injection pipe clamp to the injection pipe.

   Torque:

   5 N*m  { 50 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

INSTALL ACCELERATOR LINK ASSEMBLY NO.2

Torque:

19 N*m  { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

INSTALL THROTTLE CABLE BRACKET

BLEED INJECTION PIPE

1. Move the priming pump in the upper part of the fuel filter assembly up and down, and fill the injection pump assembly and fuel system with fuel.

2. Loosen one of the flare nuts (in the nozzle side).

3. Crank the engine until fuel comes out from the flare nut (in the nozzle side).

4. Tighten the flare nut.

   Torque:

   24.5 N*m  { 250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

5. The above operations should be carried out in each injection pipe.

INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

1. Using a new gasket, install the intake air connector.

   Torque:

   12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 8.8 ft.*lbf }

INSTALL THROTTLE CONTROL CABLE SUPPORT

Torque:

19 N*m  { 195 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

INSTALL ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

1. Start the engine, and check that there is no leakage in the fuel system.
