FUEL FILTER REMOVAL


  1. DRAIN FUEL

  2. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Loosen the filter drain plug, and then drain the fuel.

    2. Disconnect the fuel main tube fuel hose No. 1.

    3. Disconnect the injection pump to fuel filter fuel hose.

    4. Disconnect the level warning switch connector.

    5. Disconnect the fuel heater assembly.

  3. REMOVE FUEL FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KHQ1

      Remove the 2 bolts and fuel filter assembly.

    2. Fix the fuel filter cap into a vise.

    3. Using a water pump plier, remove the level warning switch.

    4. A01KHDPE01

      Using SST, remove the fuel filter element sub-assembly.
