COMMON RAIL REMOVAL

Note


  • When removing the injection pipes and fuel inlet pipe, clean them up with a brush and compressed air.

  • When replacing the common rail, it is necessary to replace the injection pipes and fuel inlet pipe, as well.


  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

  2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT) (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

  5. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT CABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SELECT


    1. Remove the clip and nut, and then Disconnect the select cable from the transmission.

  6. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT CABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHIFT


    1. Remove the clip and nut, and then Disconnect the shift cable from the transmission.

  7. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

  8. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE SHOE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)

  9. REMOVE ENGINE SERVICE HOLE SUB COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (W/O TILT CAB CAB TYPE)


    1. Remove the front door scuff.

    2. Remove the floor mat.

    3. Remove the 7 bolts and engine service hole sub cover.

  10. REMOVE VSV ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE INJECTION PIPE SET

  14. REMOVE FUEL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  15. REMOVE NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the fuel hose from the nozzle leakage pipe assembly No. 2.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 union bolts, check valve, nozzle leakage pipe assembly No. 2 and 3 gaskets.

  16. REMOVE COMMON RAIL ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the sensor connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and common rail assembly.

      Note


      • Do not disassemble the pressure limiter.

      • Do not reuse the fuel pressure sensor.
