FUEL TANK (for Double Cab) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FENDER SIDE APRON SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the 5 bolts and remove the fender side apron sub-assembly RH.

  3. REMOVE RH STEP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and remove the RH step sub-assembly.

  4. DRAIN FUEL

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL MAIN TUBE


    1. A01KEKD

      Loosen the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel main tube.

  6. DISCONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE


    1. A01KI3N

      Loosen the clip and disconnect the fuel main tube.

  7. DISCONNECT FUEL EVAPORATIVE SEPARATOR FUEL HOSE


    1. A01KFDZ

      Loosen the clip and clamp and disconnect fuel evaporative separator fuel hose.

  8. REMOVE FUEL TANK

      Remove the 10 nuts and 8 bolts and remove the fuel tank band and fuel tank stay.

    2. Disconnect the fuel sender gage connector and remove the fuel tank.

  9. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAGE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 5 screws and remove the fuel sender gage assembly and gasket.

  10. REMOVE FUEL CUT OFF VALVE ASSEMBLY

      Loosen the 2 clips and 3 clamps and disconnect evaporation hose.

    2. A01KFB6

      Remove the 8 screws and remove the 2 fuel cut off valve assemblies, fuel tank support tube plate and 2 gaskets.

  11. REMOVE FUEL TANK VENT TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01KFXA

      Remove the 6 bolts and remove the fuel tank vent tube sub-assembly and gasket.
