If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check in the check mode, check the circuit for the codes listed in the table below. For details of each code, refer to the "See page" under the respective "DTC No." in the DTC chart.

*1: "ON" displayed in the diagnosis mode column indicates that the check engine warning light is lighted up when a malfunction is detected.
*2: "*" in the memory column indicates that a DTC code is recorded in the ECM memory when a malfunction occurs. Accordingly, output of diagnostic results in the normal or test mode is done with the ignition switch ON.
