INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ DPF) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. Check the resistance.


      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        2.21 k to 2.65 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)

        Note

        When checking the intake air temperature sensor in water, keep the terminals dry. After the check, wipe the sensor dry.

        If the resistance is not as specified, replace the intake air temperature sensor.
