CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/o DPF) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

      *1 O-ring

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the crankshaft position sensor.

    2. A01KEX7

      Install the crankshaft position sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the crankshaft position sensor.

    3. Attach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    4. Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

  2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 56 in.*lbf }

  3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

  4. INSTALL ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Double Cab)


    1. Install the engine side cover sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 117 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }
