ACCELERATOR PEDAL REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE ACCELERATOR LINK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. A01KGXK

      Remove the 2 bolts and accelerator pedal.

    2. A01KHOV

      Disconnect the accelerator link assembly connector.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and accelerator link assembly.

      Note


      • Avoid physical shock to the accelerator link assembly.

      • Do not disassemble the accelerator link assembly.

  3. REMOVE ACCELERATOR LINK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. A01KFX6

      Disconnect the accelerator link assembly connector.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and accelerator link assembly.

      Note


      • Avoid physical shock to the accelerator link assembly.

      • Do not disassemble the accelerator link assembly.

  4. REMOVE ACCELERATOR LINK ASSEMBLY (w/o Heater)


    1. A01KHWL

      Remove the clip and separate the accelerator wire.

      Note

      When disconnecting the accelerator wire, be careful not to bend or pull it excessively, or to allow it to become entangled.

    2. Disconnect the accel position sensor connector.

    3. Separate the pedal from the accelerator link rod.

      Remove the 3 bolts and accelerator pedal.
