INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY
Remove dust and oil on the connecting surfaces of the carrier assembly and axle housing.
Apply sealant to both sides of a new gasket.

Tech Tips
Install the bolt within 20 minutes after applying adhesive.
Install the rear differential carrier gasket to the axle housing.
Apply adhesive to the differential carrier installation bolt.

Tech Tips
Be sure to apply enough adhesive to the threads as shown in the illustration.
Install the bolt within 20 minutes after applying adhesive.
Using a jack, install the rear differential carrier assembly to the axle housing.
Note
Be sure to install the carrier assembly with the ring gear teeth facing the right side of the vehicle when setting on a jack.
Temporarily tighten the 4 nuts and 4 washers, and jack down.
Install the 8 bolts, and tighten the rear differential carrier assembly installation bolts and nuts evenly.
INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY
Aligning the matchmarks, install the propeller shaft assembly with the 4 nuts and 4 bolts.
INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT

ADD DIFFERENTIAL OIL
Add oil.
