SHIFT AND SELECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Turn the shift lever knob counterclockwise and remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER

      Remove the screw and the parking brake hole cover.

  3. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 claws, and then remove the shifting hole cover sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER BOOT COVER

      Remove the 3 clips and shift lever boot cover.

  5. REMOVE SHIFT AND SELECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE

      Remove the nut and disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever assembly.

    2. Remove the clip and washer, and disconnect the control select cable from the shift lever assembly.

      Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the shift and select transmission control cable from the shift lever retainer.

    4. A01CJFTE01

      Remove the nut and disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever retainer.

    5. Remove the nut and disconnect the control select cable from the select lever.

    6. Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the shift and select transmission control cable from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

      Remove the 2 nuts, and 2 transmission control cable brackets.

    8. Remove the transmission control cable clamp from the transmission control cable bracket.

    9. A01CIYR

      Remove the transmission control cable clamp.

    10. A01CHP0

      Remove the nut and No. 3 transmission control cable bracket.

    11. A01CJ7W

      Remove the bolt and No. 2 transmission control cable bracket.

    12. A01CJ1U

      Remove the bolt and transmission control cable clamp.

    13. Pull out the shift and select transmission control cable from the engine side.
