STARTER INSTALLATION

INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

1. Install the starter assembly with the bolt and nut.

   Torque:

   154 N*m  { 1570 kgf*cm, 114 ft.*lbf }

2. Connect the starter wire to terminal C with the bolt, and install the terminal cap.

   Torque:

   4.5 N*m  { 46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf }

3. Connect the starter wire to terminal B with the nut, and install the terminal cap.

   Torque:

   14 N*m  { 138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

4. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

   Torque:

   18 N*m  { 179 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

5. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.

INSTALL FLYWHEEL HOUSING STIFFENER PLATE

1. Install the flywheel housing stiffener plate with the 2 bolts.

   Torque:

   97 N*m  { 989 kgf*cm, 72 ft.*lbf }

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
