GLOW PLUG REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 INTAKE PIPE AND NO. 1 AIR HOSE

      Remove the 3 bolts, loosen the 2 hose bands, and remove the No. 2 intake pipe and No. 1 air hose.

  3. REMOVE EGR COOLER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CIUE

      Disconnect the 3 water by-pass hoses.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts, wire harness clamp bracket and EGR cooler sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 gaskets.

  4. REMOVE GLOW PLUG GROUND WIRE


    1. Remove the 4 screw grommets.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts.

    3. Remove the wire harness and 3 glow plug ground wires.

  5. REMOVE GLOW PLUG ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a 12 mm deep socket wrench, remove the 4 glow plugs.
