  1. INSPECT STARTER RELAY ASSEMBLY

      Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L - B Battery voltage is not applied to terminals S8-SW and S8-G 10 kΩ or higher
      L - B Battery voltage is applied to terminals S8-SW and S8-G Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the starter relay assembly.
