    1. Inspect the resistance.

        Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Connection Specified Condition
        1 - 5 Switch OFF Below 1 Ω
        1 - 5 Switch ON 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 4 Switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 4 Switch ON Below 1 Ω
