MONOLITHIC CONVERTER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL MONOLITHIC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new gasket onto the monolithic converter.

    2. Temporarily install the center exhaust pipe sub-assembly and the support bracket onto the monolithic converter with the 8 nuts.

    3. A01CI07E03

      Tighten the 8 nuts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }

    4. Install a new gasket onto the monolithic converter.

    5. Temporarily install the with catalyst converter assembly and the support bracket onto the monolithic converter with the 9 nuts.

    6. A01CHUQE02

      Tighten the 9 nuts in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      35 N*m  { 357 kgf*cm, 26 ft.*lbf }
    7. A01CGTE

      Install the 2 No. 5 exhaust pipe clamps with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
