MONOLITHIC CONVERTER REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR

      Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector.

    2. A01CGV8

      Using a union nut wrench (14 mm), loosen the union nut and remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. A01CIZ9

      Disconnect the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor connector.

    2. A01CI8B

      Using a union nut wrench (14 mm), loosen the union nut and remove the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  3. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CIBFE01

      Disconnect the exhaust retarder assembly hose.

    2. A01CHNOE01

      Remove the 4 bolts and exhaust retarder assembly.

    3. A01CHH6E01

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. A01CHWFE01

      Remove the 2 differential pressure sensor hoses.

    5. A01CIDU

      Remove the 3 nuts, 6 cushions and center exhaust pipe assembly.
