DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the 2 differential pressure sensor assembly hoses.

      Connect SST to the differential pressure sensor assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Using SST, apply pressure according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E22-27 (PEX) - E23-28 (E2) 0 kPa 0.75 V

      20 kPa (0.2 kgf/cm2, 2.8 psi)

      		 1.53 V

      100 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm2, 14 psi)

      		 4.65 V

    6. Disconnect SST from the differential pressure sensor assembly.

    7. Connect the 2 differential pressure sensor assembly hoses.

      Tech Tips

      Be sure to connect the hoses correctly.
