CYLINDER HEAD DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE INTAKE VALVE

    A01CH64E01

    1. Using SST, remove the retainer lock, then remove the retainer, compression spring and valve.

      Tech Tips

      Keep the removed parts in the correct order so that they can be returned to their original positions when reassembled.

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST VALVE

  3. REMOVE VALVE STEM OIL SHIELD


    1. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the oil shield.
