ACCELERATOR PEDAL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accel Sens. No. 1 Volt % and Accel Sens. No. 2 Volt %.

    5. Read the value displayed on the intelligent tester.

      Standard
      Accelerator Pedal Condition Accel Sens. No. 1 Volt % Accel Sens. No. 2 Volt %
      Released 12 to 20% 28 to 36%
      Depressed 60 to 78% 72 to 92%

      If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal assembly, wire harness and ECM.
