After replacing the ECM, the new ECM needs registration Click here and initialization Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Turn the ignition switch off.

    3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.

    4. Connect the negative battery terminal.

    5. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    6. Enter the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC

    7. Read the DTCs.

      Result
      Display (DTC Output) Proceed to
      P0606 and/or P0607 A
      No DTC output B
