ECD SYSTEM DTC CHECK / CLEAR


  1. CHECK DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. A01CJAHE01

      Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Enter the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.

    5. Check and make a note of the DTCs and freeze frame data.

  2. CLEAR DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (do not start the engine).

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Enter the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC / Clear.

    5. Erase the DTCs and freeze frame data by pressing YES on the tester.

      Note

      When DTC P0110, P0112, P0113, P0115, P0116, P0117, P0118 or P0500 is detected, the DTC cannot be cleared using the intelligent tester.

  3. CLEAR DTCS AND FREEZE FRAME DATA (not using the intelligent tester)


    1. Remove the DC/DC 1 fuse from the engine room relay block for more than 60 seconds, or disconnect the negative battery cable for more than 60 seconds.
