| P2226 | Barometric Pressure Circuit |
| P2228 | Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input |
| P2229 | Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input |
DESCRIPTION
The atmospheric pressure sensor, built into the ECM, detects the atmospheric pressure. According to the value of the atmospheric pressure, the ECM corrects the injection timing, the injection volume and the amount of common rail internal fuel pressure for an optimum combustion.
| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| P2226 | Open or short in atmospheric pressure sensor circuit for more than 0.5 seconds (ECM internal malfunction) | ECM |
| P2228 | Short in atmospheric pressure sensor circuit for more than 0.5 seconds (ECM internal malfunction) | ECM |
| P2229 | Open in atmospheric pressure sensor circuit for more than 0.5 seconds (ECM internal malfunction) | ECM |
Tech Tips
