FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Seat with Separate Type Seatback) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL INNER SEAT BRACKET ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the inner seat bracket assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Install the front seat inner belt assembly RH together with the bolt to the inner seat bracket assembly.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding part of the inner seat bracket assembly.

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CIMM

      Insert the front seat inner belt assembly RH through the hole in the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

    2. Attach the 2 hooks.

    3. Install the separate type front seat cushion assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT CENTER SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. Fold down the front center seatback assembly and temporarily install it with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install the tool bag, hub nut box wrench handle and spare wheel carrier handle and attach the rubber band at the 2 locations.

    4. Return the front center seatback assembly to the upright position.

      Note

      Make sure that the front center seatback assembly is locked.

    5. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    1. Operate the reclining adjuster release handle LH and fold down the front center seatback assembly.

    2. Fold down the separate type front seatback assembly and temporarily install it with the 3 bolts and nut.

    3. Tighten the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    4. Return the separate type front seatback assembly to the upright position.

      Note

      Make sure that the separate type front seatback assembly is locked.

    5. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

    6. Return the front center seatback assembly to the upright position.

      Note

      Make sure that the front center seatback assembly is locked.
