FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Seat with Separate Type Seatback) REASSEMBLY

  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the center seatback frame sub-assembly to the center seatback pad.

  3. INSTALL FRONT CENTER SEATBACK COVER

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front center seatback cover to the center seatback frame sub-assembly with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the front center seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the front center seatback cover.

  4. INSTALL FRONT CENTER SEAT HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the guide and install the front center seat hinge sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL RECLINING SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the reclining seatback adjuster assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 410 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 guides and install the reclining adjuster cover LH with the screw.

  7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

  8. INSTALL LOWER CONSOLE COVER


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 clips to install the lower console cover.

  9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the separate type front seatback spring assembly to the separate type front seatback pad.

  10. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad and separate type front seatback spring assembly with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the separate type front seatback cover.

  11. INSTALL RECLINING SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the reclining seatback adjuster assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      40 N*m  { 410 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 guides and install the reclining adjuster cover RH with the screw.

  13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH


    1. Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.
