INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect the connector.

      Tech Tips

      When connecting the connector, make sure that the speaker is oriented so that the connector on the speaker is closer to the interior of the vehicle.

    2. Install the front No. 1 speaker assembly with the 3 screws.

      Note


      • Do not touch the cone of the speaker.

      • When installing the speaker, do not pinch the wire harness between the speaker and instrument panel.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
