  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Lift up the speaker, disconnect the connector on the backside of the speaker, and then remove the front No. 1 speaker assembly.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone of the speaker.
