FRONT WIPER MOTOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND BRACKET ASSEMBLY


    1. Stop the front wiper motor and bracket assembly operation.

      Check the automatic stop position.

      OK
      The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration.
      Standard
      Area Standard Condition
      A 46.3 mm (1.82 in.)
      B 50.3 mm (1.98 in.)

      If the result is not as specified, remove and reinstall the wiper arm and blade assembly, and perform the on-vehicle inspection described above to inspect the wiper motor and bracket assembly again.

      If the result is not as specified again, inspect the wiper motor and bracket assembly with it removed from the vehicle body Click here
