  1. POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


    1. The power door lock control system locks/unlocks all the doors.

      The front door lock control knob LH sends lock/unlock request signals to the No. 1 integration relay. Then, the No. 1 integration relay sends these request signals to the front door lock actuator RH in front passenger side door to lock/unlock the front passenger side door at once in response to the inputs.

      Operating the driver side door lock using a mechanical key sends request signals to lock or unlock the front passenger side door to the No. 1 integration relay.

  2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Front door lock control knob LH Locks and unlocks all the doors.
    Front door lock assembly LH

    • Locks and unlocks the door.

    • Built-in key-linked switch detects the door key cylinder operation status (locked or unlocked) and outputs a signal to the No. 1 integration relay.
    Front door lock actuator assembly RH Built-in motor locks and unlocks the door.
    No. 1 integration relay Detects the vehicle condition based on the signals from the driver side switch and controls the power door lock control system. Sends lock/unlock signals to the front door lock RH to operate the front door lock actuator RH.

  3. SYSTEM FUNCTION


    1. This system is controlled by the No. 1 integration relay. The No. 1 integration relay outputs signals to the front passenger side door lock actuator. The power door lock control system of the vehicle has the following functions:

      Manual lock and unlock function This function locks and unlocks all doors according to the front door lock control knob LH operation.
      Key-linked lock and unlock function This function, which is linked with the door key cylinder, locks or unlocks all doors when a lock or unlock operation is performed.
