  1. INSPECT HEATER BLOWER SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Heater Blower Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      ALL - 8 (E) 0 (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (LO) - 8 (E) 1 (LO) Below 1 Ω
      2 (LO) - 4 (M1) - 8 (E) 2 (M1) Below 1 Ω
      2 (LO) - 7 (M2) - 8 (E) 3 (M2) Below 1 Ω
      2 (LO) - 6 (HI) - 8 (E) 4 (HI) Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the heater blower switch.

    2. Check that the heater control illuminates.


      1. Apply 24 V battery voltage to the heater blower switch and check that the illumination comes on.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 1(ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 3(ILL-)

        		 Illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
