N04C-UH COMPRESSOR DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE MAGNETIC CLUTCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the compressor and magnetic clutch in a vise.

      Using SST, remove the bolt, magnetic clutch washer and magnetic clutch hub.

      Tech Tips

      There is no set number of magnetic clutch washers because they are used for adjustment.

    3. A01CHJE

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and then remove the magnetic clutch rotor.

      Note

      Take care not to damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

    4. A01CIODE01

      Disengage the clamp.

    5. Remove the screw and disconnect the stator wire.

    6. A01CIN2

      Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnetic clutch stator.
