VACUUM WARNING SWITCH INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL VACUUM WARNING SWITCH


    1. Apply seal packing to the threads of the vacuum warning switch.

      Sealant
      Toyota Genuine Seal Packing Black, Three Bond 1207B or equivalent

      Note

      Do not apply seal packing to the 2 threads from the end.

    2. Using a deep socket wrench (27 mm), install the vacuum warning switch to the vacuum reservoir.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 140 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the vacuum warning switch connector.
