FRONT SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Click here

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

    Tech Tips

    The thread direction of the hub nuts for the LH side is opposite to that of the RH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR


    1. A01CGS8

      Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

    2. Remove the nut, bolt and front speed sensor from the frame.

    3. A01CHHV

      Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the bracket.

    4. A01CHJU

      Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the axle hub.

      Note


      • Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.

      • Clean the speed sensor contact surfaces and installation hole each time the speed sensor is removed.
