REAR LEAF SPRING REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL REAR LEAF SPRING BUSHING


    1. A01CHX5E01

      for front side:


      1. Using SST and a press, install 2 new rear leaf spring bushings to the rear No. 1 leaf spring.

    2. for rear side:

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure described for the front side.

  2. REASSEMBLE REAR SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CGYA

      w/o Rear Stabilizer:


      1. Secure the rear No. 1 spring spacer, rear No. 1 helper leaf spring, rear No. 2 helper leaf spring, rear No. 3 helper leaf spring, rear No. 1 leaf spring, rear No. 2 leaf spring, rear No. 3 leaf spring, 5 rear leaf spring spacers, 4 rear No. 1 spring silencers and 3 rear No. 3 spring spacers with C-clamps.

    2. w/ Rear Stabilizer:


      1. Secure the rear No. 1 spring spacer, rear No. 1 helper leaf spring, rear No. 2 helper leaf spring, rear No. 3 helper leaf spring, rear No. 1 leaf spring, rear No. 2 leaf spring, rear No. 3 leaf spring, 5 rear leaf spring spacers, 4 rear No. 1 spring silencers, rear No. 3 spring spacer and stabilizer bracket sub-assembly with C-clamps.

    3. Insert the rear center spring bolt and install the rear center spring bolt nut.

      Torque:
      44 N*m  { 449 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01CIX9

      Using C-clamps, caulk the 2clips.

    5. Check that there is no gap between the spring clip and spring.

      Note

      Check that the clips are securely attached.
